Port wine must be saved!

Taylor’s company is very committed to the protection of the environment and, for this reason, it has made a partnership with QUERCUS (National Association for Nature Conservation), with the purpose of developing a set of measures for the protection of the Douro landscapes and the preservation of its rare vines, which have been producing the best Port wine for around 300 years.
For a couple of months, the production director of Taylor’s house, has noticed that a quarter of his best vineyard is infected by insects. These vines are one of the rarest on earth and are at risk of extinction.
The director of the company asks QUERCUS, partner entity in conservation and protection of the environment, to assess the risk of infestation for the extinction of this deboned species. QUERCUS informs the production director that it is urgent to understand the origin of this infestation and control it as soon as possible, in order to avoid the extinction of the species.

The production director is suspicious that it might be a sabotaged operation by a rival company. Indeed, a former employee has recently been dismissed due to reprisals and is currently working in the rival company.
QUERCUS has selected you and your team as environment specialists to investigate and solve this situation. It is of extreme urgency to find those responsible for the situation and save the vines.
It appears that the director of the competing company is organizing an event right now and he will be absent from the company. This is an ideal opportunity for you, inspectors, to carry some research and identify the source of the problem.
