GAME TRAILER:
The European Commission has been reconsidering promoting and financing Social Enterprises. Due to COVID-19 pandemic, the commission needs to cut back some funding in order to cover the cost of the pandemic expenses. There is a conference starting in 45 minutes, where the delegates from all over Europe will gather in order to convince the Commission that the SE is worth financing. Players gather in the room. They have 45 minutes to find enough evidence in order to convince the EU commission that SE deserves to be funded. The main aim of the game is that the players get to know the social challenges Europe is facing and to realize that the concept of social entrepreneurship can provide solutions for those problems. The game teaches them also the concept of SE and how such a company is established and run to be successful.
The game master explains that there are hidden materials inside the room that will help them collect enough information about those two topics and prepare them for the debriefing that will follow after they escape the room.
Ultimate mission: Participants must identify the 7 societal challenges defined by the EU commission
